TopTopTopNews — Thesis research that investigates and questions the various delivery methods of news. This exploration led me to pay close attention to the several platforms where we consume this information. The form of the pamphlet is derived from the newspaper. The visual aesthetic references online and print news. I tracked news stories each day and analyzed a number of mission statements that led me to ask questions about our current state of news. For example, what information is considered Top News, Breaking News, and Urgent News? In what ways does the language used within our news communicate something more than fear. Also, what is deemed as serious news and pleasurable news? I found that there are two prominent options of news delivery — no news and a mass amount of news. The consequences of this delivery today creates several problems with our current state of news—lack of structure, no direction, redundancy, and overload. All creating confusion for everyone.
